"Sleep is paramount to one's health," Umer, my friend, continually states. Good thing is, I received 8 hours today. My class normally starts at 9 and ends at 4 whereas today it started at 10:30 and ended at 11:50. Moreover, today is FRIDAY!
Today, the class discussion was all about individual demand curves and arc elasticity. Our initial goal is to make the best feasible decision (maximize revenue) when we sell goods, thus we have to rely analyze the individual demand curves, and arc elasticity. As simple as the name sounds, it is very complicated.
I spent two hours with my group trying to solve homework questions, after class. Though we did not finish, we got the majority of it done - a great exchange of knowledge.

Though it had been a very slow day, dinner really hyped me up! We were delighted by Italian food, courtesy of the University. I reconnected with friends, including Francesco Chiappe Rijul Raghu, Umer Lakhani, and Guglielmo Barbieri. I found Francesco to be the most hardworking. He has taken on several rigorous courses, and is currently at the top 1% of his high school class. I am intrigued by not only the intellectual capacity in some of these students, but also their desire to do more. Francesco is focusing the majority of his time in investing and his start-up business - a clothing brand.
This afternoon I spent the majority of my time in Trott house, 9th floor, playing Fifa with the guys, 2 days before the World Cup Final. We organized a Fifa tourney and surprisingly I made it to the semi-final. I lost against Guglielmo but the rounds were surely amazing. We are all patiently waiting for the World Cup Final and majority of us are supporting France. Guglielmo dared Umer to shave off his head if Croatia wins - haha! He agreed but I think it is a bit way too extreme. Francesco won the Fifa tournament.
As I am typing this, I am chilling in the Trott House with the crew. I am super excited to head out with them to the city tomorrow.
